Job Description
Envision Physician Services is seeking full-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join the team at UTMB Clear Lake Campus.
Requirements:
Board Eligible/ Board Certified Pediatric Emergency Physician
Should possess excellent clinical skills, communications skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented
Position Profile:
120 hours/month for full time
12 hour shifts / 10 shifts per month
- Average 11,500 pediatric patients annually
- EPIC EMR with Dragon and DAX CoPilot AI capabilities
- Independent Contractor status - Malpractice and tail insurance included
Level II Trauma
Level II NICU
Community PED with access to UTMB Pediatric medial & surgical subspeciality services
24/7 PEM physician coverage, no NPP supervision
PED is located within the adult ED with private patient rooms, dedicated trauma and resuscitation bays, advanced imaging capabilities (X-Ray, 2 CT, Ultrasound, and MRI), a full diagnostics lab and respiratory services, telemetry monitoring, and support from ED Child Life specialists.
New 15 bed Pediatric Med-Surg Unit & Intermediate Care Unit
PICU located at UTMB Galveston
Collaboration with Children's Memorial Hermann Critical Transport Team
