About this role:
Located in the heart of Lafayette, Colorado, Good Samaritan Medical Center is a 234?bed Level II Trauma Center committed to exceptional patient care and community service.
Our Cancer Center is part of a collaborative oncology network spanning four hospitals across the Denver area. You’ll join established team of 11 physicians and 11 APPs, practicing in a beautiful location nestled between Denver and Boulder.
Our CoC and NAPBC accredited Cancer Center offers a thoughtfully designed clinical environment with 5 exam rooms, 1 procedure room, and 15 infusion chairs. You’ll be supported by a highly skilled, patient?centered team including six RNs, a dedicated Nurse Navigator, Medical Assistant, Registered Dietitian, Social Worker, Genetic Counselor, Clinical Pharmacist and Tech, Palliative Care, Financial Advocate, and an experienced front?office team.
Here are some highlights you can expect from this employed practice:
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm. Our oncologists work 40 hours on a 4-day week.
You’ll be on call 1:7 for all locations; Good Samaritan Medical Center, Platte Valley Medical Center, Lutheran Medical Center, and Saint Joseph Hospital
Call is typically very light
A robust clinical trials infrastructure enabling participation in cutting-edge trials as part of an integrated cancer research program
Growth for the Oncology program in the Denver and surrounding areas will include additional FTEs in the future for this location

How we'll support you:
Compensation: Our compensation plan is standard across the Denver Front Range. We offer a salary of $576,015 plus a wRVU production incentive. Call is paid out from first call shift at $450/weeknight and $1,890/weekend. Additionally, we are offering a $25,000 Sign on Bonus. A relocation bonus is also available to qualified candidates.

What you’ll bring:
We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Unrestricted physician license in the state of CO or able to obtain
Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology
American Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
Minimum of 2 years of practice experience
