ECU Health Duplin Hospital, located in Kenansville, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced ABEM certified physician or an experienced NP/PA to work in their Emergency Department. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled call for orientation.

Details:
• Will accept EM physicians and IM/FM physicians with emergency medicine experience and required certifications
• Inpatient only - will only accept candidates with ED inpatient experience within the last 12 months.
• Required certifications if IM/FM trained (no exceptions): ACLS, ATLS, PALS (through AHA)
• ED has 15 total beds
• New ED renovation
• Minor Emergency section newly opened (fast track)- 12 hours daily
• Total inpatient census: 47 acute
• Average number of ED Patients/Day: 80
• Average number of Admissions/Day: 11
• Ideally looking for Six to twelve 12-hour shifts per month
