OB Hospitalist Opportunity – St. Bernards Medical Center | Jonesboro, Arkansas

Join Our Growing OB Hospitalist Team!

St. Bernards Medical Center, a 457-bed community hospital, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join our expanding OB/GYN Hospitalist Program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment within a well-established health system that prioritizes quality, safety, and academic engagement.

Program & Facility Highlights

  • 457-bed community hospital with 13 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms, 3 observation rooms, and 2 ORs on L&D

  • 19-bed Level 3A NICU

  • Approximately 1,845 deliveries per year

  • Family Medicine Residency Program with an active obstetrical service

  • Supported by Nurse Practitioners on nights and when residents are not on service

Position Details

  • Provide inpatient care to unassigned OB patients presenting to Labor & Delivery or the Emergency Department

  • Be available to assist private practice physicians for emergencies or requested deliveries

  • Offer backup and consultative support to the Family Medicine Residency program

  • Manage inpatient GYN consults as needed

  • Serve as a physician leader in safety and quality initiatives

  • Opportunity for academic involvement and teaching

  • Schedule: 7–8, 24-hour shifts per 28 days
