Palliative Medicine Position affiliated with the most prestigious medical school on the west coast of Florida Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute, Tampa, Florida, is seeking physician applicants at the Assistant/Associate Professor level with clinical/research focus in Palliative Medicine The growing Cancer Institute is looking to expand services in Palliative Medicine and new physician would be dedicated to working in the TGH Cancer Center TGH is a USNWR nationally ranked health system in 6 specialties and Top 10% in the nation for Oncology TGH Cancer Institute one of the fastest growing academic cancer institutes in the state of Florida with a particular focus on clinical trials and translational science Position includes mixture of clinical as well as teaching/research/ administrative responsibilities TGH Cancer Institute has a large biobank as well as a rapidly growing clinical trial infrastructure Cancer Institute currently offers: Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Services (Autologous stem cell and CAR-T transplants) Radiation Oncology Robust Hematology/Oncology services Complex Surgical Oncology Supportive services including Nurse Navigation, Social Work, Nutrition, Genetics, etc. Affiliated with University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine which is highly ranked in Federal Research expenditures for public universities Employed position with USF Health and the Morsani College of Medicine Excellent salary plus bonus and full benefit package Sign on bonus available Located in Tampa, Florida No State Income Tax Major International Airport NFL Football, MLB Baseball & NHL Hockey Pristine Beaches, Fishing, Scuba & Boating World Class Museums, Restaurants & Shopping Excellent Public Schools & Private Academies Outstanding Year-Round Tropical Weather
