Anesthesiology - Cardiac & General Anesthesiologist - Physician - Syracuse, NY

St. Joseph’s Health, located in Syracuse, New York, is seeking to recruit Anesthesiologists (general and cardiac) to join our robust team of highly experienced providers. This position requires coverage in the hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center.

Opportunity Details:

• Full-time, 2100 hours annually
• Vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac cases
• Minimal pediatrics, mostly at ASC
• Call Standard: 1 weekend per month; 3 in house overnight calls every 2 months; 4 second calls every 2 months

REQUIREMENTS – Applicants should have the following:

• NYS licensure and DEA required
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

St. Joseph’s Health offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

• Compensation:
• $575,000.00 for call taking position
• $25,000.00 additional stipend for cardiac anesthesia

• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

• $125,000.00 sign on bonus
• Retention stipend for the first 2 years
• Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay available

• Paid malpractice, including post-employment tail coverage
• CME time & $4,500 annual expense allowance
• 10 weeks paid time away from the practice
