Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri, is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to serve as Medical Director of Anesthesiology. This is a unique opportunity to lead a strong CRNA team while continuing to practice hands-on clinical anesthesia in a growing, physician-led rural health system.

Position Highlights

• Leadership + Practice: Oversee a dedicated team of 11 full-time CRNAs (plus PRN coverage) while continuing your own clinical work

• No In-House Call

• Flexible Schedule: Full-time or part-time structure tailored to your needs

• Broad Case Mix: General surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, trauma, ophthalmology, podiatry, and more

• Modern Surgical Environment:

  • 6 ORs at Douglas Medical Center

  • 4 ORs at CMH, including a dedicated C-section suite

• Advanced Technology: Da Vinci Xi, Mako robotics, and image-guided navigation

• Surgical Growth: ~500 cases/month with expansion in progress, including a new OR and perioperative upgrades by 2026
