Medical Student Resources: Financial Assistance

Must be pursuing an MD or DO and work at NHSC-approved sites in federally designated HPSAs of greatest need throughout the US and its Territories.

After completing a residency, 3 years full–time or 6 years half-time service is required.

Qualifying students may be eligible for a full-tuition scholarship, plus a monthly stipend of more than $2,000.

Minimum obligation depends on your health care field. There is an additional obligation for residency and fellowship training. Learn more
